How to add multiple vouchers to a manual order

Add several vouchers for different recipients to one manual order with a single buyer.

You can add multiple vouchers to one manual order when a single buyer is purchasing vouchers for different recipients. Each voucher can have its own price, delivery option and recipient, and the buyer’s details only need to be entered once.

This is useful when one customer buys several gift vouchers, for example as Christmas gifts for family or colleagues. To issue many copies of the same voucher in one go, use a bulk order instead.

Create a manual order with multiple vouchers

Step 1: Set up the first voucher

  1. In the left-hand menu, click New Manual Order [1].

Then:

  1. Choose and set up the first voucher as usual. For details on each field, see How to create a manual order.

Step 2: Add the next voucher

The Add another voucher and Duplicate this voucher options appear at the bottom of each voucher, just above Sale Location.

  1. Click Add another voucher [1] to start a new, blank voucher. Or click Duplicate this voucher [2] to copy the current voucher. Everything is copied except Voucher To and the recipient’s name and email, so you only need to fill those in.

  2. Repeat for each voucher in the order.

Each voucher you add appears in the Vouchers in this order list at the top of the window.

e Who is the voucher for section with Voucher From and Voucher To fields, followed by an Add another voucher button and a Duplicate this voucher link, above the Sale Location field.

Step 3: Review the vouchers in the order

Every voucher you add is listed under Vouchers in this order [1] at the top of the Create order window. The total number of vouchers is shown beside the heading.

  1. Check each voucher’s name, price or option, delivery type and recipient.

  2. Use Edit, Duplicate or Remove [2] to change, copy or delete a voucher.

  3. If a voucher is marked Needs attention [3], click Edit and fill in its missing details. You can’t submit the order until every voucher is complete.

Create order window listing three vouchers in the order, each with Edit, Duplicate and Remove links. The second voucher is labelled Editing and the third, with no voucher selected, is labelled Needs attention.

Every voucher in the list is issued when you submit, including any added by mistake. Check that the number beside Vouchers in this order matches the number of vouchers you meant to add.

Step 4: Submit the order

  1. Check the Total. If you add a Discount, it applies to the whole order, not to a single voucher.

Who receives the voucher emails?

The buyer always gets one order confirmation email, with every voucher in the order ready to download.

If Send this voucher directly to recipient is ticked on a voucher, the recipient also gets their own voucher email. If the same person is the recipient on several vouchers, they get one email per voucher.
