Connect Oracle Payments as a Payment Gateway

How to connect Oracle Payments to VoucherCart to handle payments for gift card and voucher sales.

To connect Oracle Payments, go to Settings > Payment Gateways in your VoucherCart dashboard, choose OraclePayments and enter your Oracle credentials. Once saved, the gateway shows Accepting payments, and your voucher sales are paid into your nominated bank account.

Where to find your Oracle Payments credentials

You’ll need seven credentials from your Oracle Payments account. All seven are required.

  • Authentication URL: the Oracle Identity token endpoint for your environment.

  • Client ID and Client Secret: part of your Oracle application’s authentication setup. If you have access to Oracle Identity Domain, you may find them in the application’s configuration settings.

  • Channel Code, Location Reference and Organization Reference: supplied during your Oracle Payments onboarding. Check your onboarding documentation.

  • Client Key: check your Oracle Payments integration documentation to confirm which key this field needs.

Your credentials must match your Oracle Payments environment. If you can’t find a value or aren’t sure which one to use, contact your Oracle account representative before entering or creating new credentials.

Turn Oracle Payments on or off for transactions

The OraclePayments card has two toggles and a menu:

  • VRM [1] turns the gateway on or off for VoucherCart Reservations Module (VRM) transactions only.

  • Active toggle [2] turns the gateway on or off for all transactions, including VRM.

  • More actions [3] opens options to edit, deactivate or delete the gateway.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I connect Oracle Payments alongside another payment gateway?

A: Yes. You can connect more than one payment gateway, and customers choose which one to pay with at checkout. Only one gateway can be connected to the VoucherCart Reservations Module (VRM) at a time.

Q: Are payments that have already gone through affected if I deactivate or delete Oracle Payments?

A: No. Completed payments aren’t affected. Only customers checking out at the time of the change will see a failed payment.

Q: Why isn’t my OraclePayments card showing Accepting payments?

A: The gateway is most likely turned off, or one of your credentials is incorrect.

To fix it:

  1. Check that the active toggle on the OraclePayments card is switched on.

  2. If it is, click More actions, then Edit, and check each credential against the values Oracle gave you. Pay particular attention to the Authentication URL.

  3. Click Save and check the card again.

If you can’t confirm which credential values are correct, contact your Oracle account representative.
