Service fees allow you to add an additional charge to voucher purchases to help offset operational or payment processing costs. The fee is shown to buyers as its own line item at checkout, and appears separately in order exports, order details, and the finance dashboard – so it's never buried in the order total. VoucherCart only supports one active service fee at a time.
How to Create a New Service Fee
1. From the left-hand menu, go to Settings.
2. Click Taxes & Fees.
3. Tick the Enable Service fee checkbox.
4. Enter the name of your service fee in the Service fee field.
Example: Service charge, administration fee, service fee
5. Configure the fee amount using one or both of the following options:
Flat fee – Adds a fixed amount to each order.
Percentage – Adds a percentage-based fee to each order.
In this example:
Flat fee:
$2.00Percentage:
0%
If you want the fee to apply to manual orders, tick: Apply service fee to manual orders.
6. Click Save.
