Link an authenticator app to your VoucherCart account for extra sign-in security. After you enter your email and password, you’ll be asked for a six-digit code from your app. Setup takes a few minutes: turn the setting on, link your app with a QR code, then save your recovery codes.
What happens when you next sign in
Enter your email and password as usual.
On the verification code page, enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app in the Verification code box [1].
Select Sign In [2].
If you can’t get to your authenticator app, enter one of your recovery codes in the Verification code box instead. Each code works once.
Before you start
You can sign in to your VoucherCart dashboard.
You have an authenticator app installed, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password.
You have somewhere safe to store 8 recovery codes, such as a password manager.
Turn on sign-in with an authenticator app
Step 1: Open My Profile
Sign in to your VoucherCart dashboard.
Select the profile drop-down [1], then select My Profile [2].
Step 2: Go to Sign-in and security
On the My account page, select Sign-in and security.
Step 3: Switch on the Authenticator App toggle
In the Authenticator App box, switch the toggle to On. It’s off by default.
The Set up your Authenticator App page opens.
Step 4: Link your authenticator app
The Set up your authenticator app page shows a QR code and a box for your six-digit code.
In your authenticator app, choose to add a new account.
Use the app’s camera to scan the QR code [1]. VoucherCart is added to your app.
Enter the six-digit code your app shows in the Code from your app box [2], then select Confirm and turn on.

Add the key to your authenticator app:
Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator: select Enter code manually, then type in the key.
1Password: in your VoucherCart login item, add a One-time password field, enter the key, then select Save.
Enter the six-digit code your app shows in the Code from your app box, then select Confirm and turn on.
Codes are time-limited. If a code isn’t accepted, enter the next one your app shows.
Step 5: Save your recovery codes
When your code is accepted, the Recovery codes page shows 8 recovery codes.
Copy all 8 codes [1] and store them somewhere safe, such as a password manager.
Select I have saved them [2]
You’re returned to the Sign-in and security page. Sign-in with an authenticator app is now on.
This is the only time your recovery codes are shown. We store them in a form we can’t read back, so we can’t show them to you again.
