Digital Wallet allows customers to save eligible vouchers to the wallet on their mobile device for quick and convenient access. Customers using an iPhone can add vouchers to Apple Wallet, while customers using Android devices can add them to Google Wallet.
Digital Wallet is automatically enabled for all VoucherCart clients. This guide explains how to customise the appearance of your digital wallet pass to match your branding, and how to disable the feature if required.
Customise Your Digital Wallet
1. Open the Digital Wallet settings
Log in to your VoucherCart Dashboard.
From the main navigation, go to Settings > Digital Wallet. (1)
2. Customise the Digital Wallet pass design
Tick Customise Digital Wallet Pass Design if you want to customise the appearance of your digital wallet pass. (2)
Choose which logo to display on the pass (3):
Header Logo
White Background Logo
Footer Logo (linked from your voucher sales page)
Select a Background Colour. (4)
Select a Text Colour. (5)
Tip!
We recommend using a lighter background colour to help ensure the QR code remains easy to scan.
We recommend using a darker text colour to provide good contrast against the background.
3. Save your changes
Once you are happy with your design, press Save. (6)
After selecting Download Voucher from the voucher email, recipients will have the option to add their voucher to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, depending on their device. (7)
Disable Digital Wallet
The Digital Wallet feature is enabled by default. If you do not want customers to have the option to add vouchers to their mobile wallet, you can disable the feature.
To disable Digital Wallet:
While on Settings > Digital Wallet, (8)
Change Enable to No. (9)
Press Save. (10)
Once disabled, customers will no longer see the option to add their voucher to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
