Bookboost is a hospitality CRM and guest engagement platform that helps hospitality businesses centralize guest data and manage multi-channel communication.
The VoucherCart Bookboost integration synchronizes your marketing-consented customer data automatically into your chosen Bookboost list(s), eliminating the need for manual exports or imports and supporting more precise segmentation.
Data Sent to Bookboost
When a customer gives marketing consent — by ticking the consent checkbox at checkout, ticking the consent checkbox when registering a card, or by subscribing to your newsletter from your sales page — the following details are sent to Bookboost:
First name
Last name
Email address
Customer type, sent as a tag (VoucherCart Buyer, VoucherCart Cardholder, or VoucherCart Newsletter Subscriber), enabling segmentation of your Bookboost list(s) by acquisition source
If a customer later takes another consented action — for example, they tick the checkbox at checkout, then later register a card — Bookboost will update their profile to show both tags.
Prerequisites
Before connecting the integration, ensure the following are in place within your Bookboost account:
A consent form, configured in Bookboost under Settings → Consent Forms
A list, created in Bookboost under Profiles → Lists
You'll need the Access Token and UUIDs for this form and list to complete the connection — see how to find them below.
Locating Your Bookboost Access Token and IDs
Access Token
In your Bookboost dashboard, navigate to Settings (1) → Access Tokens (2), and copy the Api key.
Consent UUID
The Consent UUID identifies the consent form.
In your Bookboost Dashboard, navigate to Settings (3) → Consent Forms (4), select the form, and then copy the UUID (5).
List UUID
The List UUID identifies the list where contacts will be stored.
In your Bookboost dashboard, navigate to Profiles (6) → Lists (7), select the list, and then copy the UUID (8).
Connecting the Bookboost Integration
Log in to the VoucherCart Dashboard and navigate to Integrations
Find Bookboost, click Connect > Connect Integration
Enter the Access Token (9)
Enter Consent UUID (10) and List UUID (11)
If you would like to connect multiple lists, click Add another list and add the relevant List UUID
Click Save
Double Opt-In
If you require explicit confirmation of marketing consent — whether to satisfy GDPR requirements or because consent was originally captured outside Bookboost — Bookboost offers Double Opt-In as an additional verification step.
