In this guide, we will explain how to set up Oracle OPERA Cloud Property Management System for VoucherCart Reservations.
This article assumes you have Oracle OPERA Cloud connected and the VoucherCart Reservations Module has been enabled for your account.
To set up OPERA Cloud PMS for VoucherCart Reservations Module (VRM), log in to your dashboard and follow the instructions below:
1. Navigate to Integrations in the main navigation menu.
2. Click Details, next to the Oracle OPERA Integration field.
3. Click Property Configuration.
4. Then Edit property.
You will now see two additional required fields: Source Code and Market Code.
These fields must be completed for the VRM to create a reservation for your guest. The values for both fields are pulled directly from your Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS.
5. Select the Reservation Source Code to be used when a reservation is created.
6. Select the Reservation Market Code to be used when a reservation is created.
7. Then click Update property to save the changes.
Repeat steps 4β7 for each connected property to ensure the VRM can create reservations across all properties.
When you are finished, click Close.
We now need to import and customise the room types and package items that will be available to your customers when making a reservation.
Import or Update Room types
1. Select Integrations from the side navigation.
2. Then Redemptions on VoucherCart Reservation Module.
3. Select Settings.
4. We are now displayed Room types and Package items, select Room types.
Here, you are displayed a list of room types configured for the reservations module. Room types must first be imported before they are available to be booked using the reservation module.
5. To import room types, click Import room types.
6. Click the dropdown to change the language. Only languages configured on your account will be displayed.
Select a language from the list, then edit your room types to add the relevant translations. These translations will be used in the Reservations module.
7. Filter the room type list by property. If multiple properties are connected to your account, use the dropdown to select a property and view its associated room types.
8. Edit a room type by clicking the pencil icon.
9. Add an image that will be displayed to the booker when viewing room types through the Reservations Module.
10. To add additional images click the image icon.
11. Provide/update the room type name.
12. Provide/update the room type description.
13. Then Save Changes.
You can now repeat the process for each room type you have imported.
14. If you wish to re-import room types configured in OPERA Cloud, select the check box next to each room type you want to update.
15. Then click Update (x) room type(s).
Please note that updating a previously imported room type will override any changes you have made to that room in VoucherCart.
To import new room types created since your last import, click Import room types.
Do not select any existing room types unless you want to replace their data with the data from Oracle OPERA Cloud.
Import or Update Package Items
1. Select Integrations from the side navigation.
2. Then Redemptions on VoucherCart Reservation Module.
3. Select Settings.
4. We are now displayed Room types and Package items, select Package items.
Here, you are displayed a list of package items configured for the reservations module, package items must first be imported before they are available to be booked using the reservation module.
5. To import package items click Import package items.
6. Click the dropdown to change the language. Only languages configured on your account will be displayed.
Select a language from the list, then edit your package items to add the relevant translations. These translations will be used in the Reservations module.

12. Then Save Changes.

13. If you wish to re-import package items configured in OPERA Cloud, select the check box next to each package item you want to update.
14. Then click Update (x) package item(s).
