How to set up a limited-time offer in your gift voucher platform

Setting up discounted offers whilst displaying the pre-discount price is an effective means of highlighting a price reduction and driving demand for buyers.

In this article, we will cover how to:

To set a discounted price, log in to your dashboard.

1. Navigate to Vouchers on the sidebar.
2. Locate the voucher you wish to amend. Select Actions.

3. Click on Edit.

4. Click on Edit Voucher Pricing & Quantity.

5. Enable the "Crossed-out Price" and type in the original price of the voucher that you wish to display, ie the pre-discount price.

Remember to add in the pre-discount price for every option if you have multiple options available in your voucher.

6. Scroll down and click on "Save and Exit" to save the changes.
​

You will now see the crossed-out price reflected on the voucher's details page.

You can also choose to set a specific limited-time sales window or purchase window for your voucher.

This window will instruct the system when to automatically put your offer on sale, and when to take it down again, avoiding the need for you to do this manually.

It drives demand, giving the voucher buyer an incentive to purchase before the offer period ends.

1. Login to your dashboard and navigate to Vouchers on the sidebar.
2. Locate the voucher you wish to amend, then select Actions.

3. Click on Edit.

4. Click on Edit Voucher Details.
​

5. Scroll down to find the Purchase Window. Here, you can select the exact dates you want your voucher to be on sale, both "from" and "to".

You can even be time-specific, for example, setting your sale to end precisely at midnight on a given date. The system will automatically remove the voucher from sale at the specified date and time.

6. Scroll down and click on "Save and Exit" to save the changes.
​

7. Click on "Preview this voucher" to see how it will appear for the customer.
