You can sell and create ticket products using your VoucherCart account. Ticket products allow you to limit the stock/inventory available on each product and its corresponding options.

This article will explain how to:
Create a Ticket
To create a ticket product you must select the correct voucher type by following the below steps:
1. Login to your VoucherCart dashboard.
2. Go to Vouchers > Vouchers.
3. Click Create New Voucher.
4. You may wish to create a ticket from an example on our demo sales page. You can do this by selecting Use Quickstart Voucher Creator. However, in this guide, we will create a product from the start. To do this, select the Voucher Creator option.
5. Select Tickets by clicking on the Create button underneath the example.
6. Complete the Voucher Styling and Voucher Details section as you would normally. You can refer to our tutorials section for How to create and edit vouchers and tickets.
Please note!
Ticket products are by default Single Use Vouchers which means that partial redemption is not possible. Please use another voucher type if multi-redeem is required.
You can define only one redeem window for the ticket.
7. The Price section allows you to control the stock/inventory of available tickets.
a. Limit the quantity of tickets for sale? Switch the toggle to Yes if you wish to limit the overall number of available tickets and input the available amount in the box.
b. Option Quantity. Untick the "Make this option unlimited" if you want to set a numerical limit for this option and then specify the total number.
For example, if your total quantity is 50 but you only wish to sell 20 at this price option.
If you have 50 available in total but it can be made up of any of the options you have set - leave this as unlimited for each option.
c. Reduce Quantity By. Define here how many tickets are removed from the total number when this option is sold.
For example, if you sell a ticket "For two" the Reduce Quantity By should be "2".
8. Once you have set the limits for your tickets, complete the Price and Delivery section of the product edit and then click Save to save the new product (Ticket).
View Remaining Ticket Quantity
You can monitor how many tickets have been sold and how many tickets are remaining inside your dashboard at a glance.
1. Go to Vouchers > Vouchers.
2. Click Actions > Details.
3. The Vouchers sold x-times box will show the quantity sold.
Please Note! This number could be less than the number of sold tickets, as one voucher can cover two tickets. ie: a Ticket for two people would count as one voucher product sold.
4. The Remaining quantity for sale will show how many tickets remain available for sale.
Update Tickets Quantity Remaining
You can easily adjust the remaining quantity after the ticket has been created.
For example: should a customer not be able to attend the event any longer, you may wish to update the number of tickets available to put their space back on sale.
Cancelling or refunding the voucher in your dashboard does not automatically update the remaining ticket quantity, but you can update this as instructed below:
1. Go to Vouchers > Vouchers.
2. Click Actions > Edit.
3. Select Edit Voucher Pricing and Quantity.
4. Click Manage next to the Quantity available for sale.
5. Inside the Manage Quantity window, update the ticket amounts:
a. The Main Quantity needs to be updated first, click Update to save the changes.
b. Update the relevant option quantity.
In the example below, the canceled ticket was Wine Tasting Experience - Friday Evening, so we are updating this option. Click Update to save.
Please note! You may not increase the number of available tickets to be more than the main quantity.
c. Click Continue to close this window.
6. The quantities are now updated. click Save and exit to close the voucher editing.
