VoucherCart allows you to track voucher sales by campaign directly from the VoucherCart dashboard.

In order to track your voucher campaigns, a unique UTM link is required, UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) codes are snippets of text added to the end of a URL to help you track where website traffic comes from if users click a link to this URL.

UTM links are then used to track the results of your marketing campaigns, including voucher sales.

Creating UTM Links

You can create a UTM link manually or using Google's Campaign URL Builder:

To create your custom UTM link you will need:

  • The link to your voucher, voucher category, or voucher sales page

  • Campaign's name (e.g. summer2022)

  • Campaign's medium (e.g. email or social media)

  • Campaign's source (e.g. newsletter or facebook)

If you're running more than 1 ad in one campaign, you can also choose to set a campaign term, which will help you differentiate them. After entering all the required information, a UTM link will be generated:

Tracking your conversions inside VoucherCart

Once your campaigns are up and running using the UTM links you created, you can track their sales inside the VoucherCart dashboard by navigating to Statistics > Sales by Campaign.

Your campaigns will appear here automatically after the first sale is made through your UTM link, showing the total revenue generated from each campaign.

You can also search and filter your campaigns to easily create and export custom reports.
